This organisation critical role will form the key interface between the DWP and group business units. Reporting to the Director General, HR, the Corporate HR Director will play a key role in leading the wider DWP change agenda, developing the HR business plan and will ensure the organisation vision is effectively translated between the group HR Executive Team and the business unit HRD’s.
This position will provide a key leadership role in leading the delivery of the HR service across Jobcentre Plus’ national operations. Your key internal client will be the Chief Operating Officer, and you will lead a national team of HR Business Partners delivering a similar client orientated service nationally. Forging highly effective partnering relationships will be vital, as will a strong understanding of the business requirements.
These roles will provide HR leadership to their client group and form part of a wider HR Leadership team for DWP. Integrated into their Business Unit and reporting to a Business Director leading the Business Unit, they form a key part of their BU management team. In addition these positions retain a dotted line link into the Corporate HR Function, connecting their departments to the wider HR community and HR Centres of Excellence.
